IMPA: Tell City Electric Department is a member of the Indiana Municipal Power Agency. IMPA is a not-for-profit organization which is owned and governed by its members. IMPA focuses on providing its members with a power supply that is low-cost, reliable and environmentally responsible.

IMEA: The Indiana Municipal Electric Association (IMEA) is a service organization formed over 60 years ago. IMEA is a forum for municipal utilities all across Indiana to pool resources for effective representation and continuing education, both of which are vital for survival in a dynamic industry.
